DECAS’ COMPOSITION DRAWS ON ANCIENT ROMAN TRADITIONS
Brazilian mandarin imbues the scent with a citrusy opening, which gives way to the resinous, sticky-sweet notes of benzoin and opoponax at its heart.
The use of opoponax in Italy dates back to Roman times, when it was cherished for its balsamic, honey-like aroma and burned as incense in churches.
In Decas, these warm qualities are complemented by the dulcet accents of bourbon vanilla and the mellow, gentle spiciness of tolu balsam at the base.
